Automated Mobility Summit, Zurich, 4–5 May 2026

The first edition of the Automated Mobility Summit brought together policymakers, transport operators, engineers, investors and regulators from across Europe at Innovation Park Zurich. The two days covered the state of autonomous vehicle deployments in Switzerland and in other countries, the regulatory frameworks in place or in preparation, questions of financing and business models, and the integration of autonomous vehicles into existing public transport networks.

Day 1 - MONDAY 4 May 2026
European and international perspective

The first day examined the state of autonomous mobility at the European and global level. Speakers compared deployment models across the US, China and Europe, discussed the regulatory conditions required for scaling commercial services, and addressed questions of industrial strategy, business models, financing structures and the transition from pilot projects to permanent services were central themes of the day.

Day 2 - Tuesday 5 May 2026
Swiss Deployments and challenges

Am zweiten Tag stand die Schweiz im Mittelpunkt: die aktuellen Einsätze autonomer Fahrzeuge, der seit März 2025 geltende Rechtsrahmen sowie die Voraussetzungen, die erfüllt sein müssen, damit die Branche den Schritt von Pilotprojekten zu dauerhaften Dienstleistungen vollziehen kann. Am Vormittag wurden die Einsatzlage in der Schweiz und die neuesten rechtlichen Entwicklungen behandelt; am Nachmittag wurden im Rahmen einer Podiumsdiskussion und einer Publikumsbefragung die weiteren Perspektiven erörtert.
