The Urban Places Summit 2026 takes place on 17 and 18 September 2026 at the DesignWerkschau in Munich. The summit explores how transformation through leadership can succeed in mobility, energy and urban development.

The programme combines self-leadership, organisational leadership and international thought leadership with practical implementation questions in transport, infrastructure, energy and urban planning. It brings together decision-makers, international experts and the community of Urban Places Lab and Urban Places Academy.

The summit starts on Thursday 17 September at 14:30 and continues on Friday 18 September from 09:30 to 15:00. It is part of the Urban Places Academy programme (module 3/2026).
